The Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification program is a voluntary certification process that all auto and diesel technicians are highly encouraged to participate in. ASE Certifications are the certificates that you may see hanging on the walls of many auto and diesel facility waiting rooms that have the small blue gear cog on it. Most of the time, customers may simply overlook the certificates while they politely wait for their vehicle to be serviced. By demonstrating that the tested technicians are proficient in common vehicle operation systems, ASE Certifications help to identify quality, professional, and highly skilled technicians in the industry. This helps smart consumers to identify shops and technicians that are more qualified to work on their vehicles.
